[CFP] Theory Now Special Issue: Cli-Fi as Dystopia, Utopia, or Realism
CFP for a special issue of Theory Now that wants to problematize the conventions of speculative fiction in contemporary cli-fi.
We welcome submissions from scholars across disciplines and have a special interest (but are not limited) in researchers working with voices from the Global South.

Some key details:
- You can send an abstract to jordi@serranomunoz.com to check for the suitability of your proposal. Abstracts should be between 250 and 400 words. Please include a short bio.
- Papers should need to be submitted by December 1, 2024.
- Papers should be between 5,000 to 11,000 words, including notes and references. They need to follow the journal’s style of conventions and can be written in English, Spanish, or French.
- Papers will go through a blind peer-review process during the first semester of 2025, aiming for publication in the summer of that same year.I
